Dear Parents Thanks to all of you for donating candy and/or time to Saturday Live. Our booth made $1200.00. The kids ere very excited and seemed to really enjoy it. Could you have your child bring 1 bed sheet or a large lightweight blanket by Friday? It will come home on Friday after school. Shhh! It is a surprise. *HOMEWORK -Doubles + 1 -Book Bag- Start looking for these. They are a Ziploc bag with a book for your child to read to you. They will get a new book when they return it. -Poetry Binders need to be signed and returned by Monday or ASAP -Please bring a family picture for our friends and family board if you haven’t yet. *MATH We started learning some strategies for addition. We have talked and practiced the commutative property 5+3=8 so 3+5=8,adding 0 to a number, counting on, using a number line, doubles, and doubles+1. Wednesday-Music Thursday-P.E.
